Renê Guilherme S. Medrado

Partner of Pinheiro Neto Advogados. Mr. Medrado has been with the firm since 1995, where he is a partner since 2009. He counsels multinational corporations, companies, trade associations, on international trade and competition matters, and litigates disputes over such matters. Mr. Medrado has years of experience in competition law matters, having counseled and represented companies in important merger cases, as well as in several cartel investigations. Mr. Medrado received an LL.B. degree from the Catholic University in São Paulo (1997), and an Executive MBA from Insper (2002). He received an LL.M. from Columbia University School of Law (2003), where he graduated with honors (Harlan Fiske Stone scholar). Mr. Medrado also received his Ph.D. from the University of São Paulo (USP) Law School in 2011. Mr. Medrado is admitted to practice law in Brazil and in the State of New York (USA), and is recognized by many publications as a leading lawyer in Brazil in his areas of practice.
