Paulo holds a Ph.D. and a Master Degree in International Law at University of São Paulo – USP and is also a Professor of Law at Fundação Getulio Vargas Business School – FGV/EAESP. He was a Visiting Scholar at Stanford Law School (Winter-Spring 2012). Paulo is an expert in Competition Law, particularly focused on national and crossborder transactions’ notifications to the Brazilian Competition Defense System and client defense in anticompetitive practices investigations. He is particularly knowledgeable about matters involving the interface between Antitrust Law and Intellectual Property and he has published several
academic works. Paulo is also experienced in Regulatory Law, Intellectual Property, Anti-Bribery & Compliance and International Business Law. He is a member of the São Paulo Attorneys Institute (IASP) and the Brazilian Institute of Studies of Competition Law, Consumer Relation and International Trade Law (IBRAC).
