I care deeply about the quality of government interventions in the regulatory domain, so I’ve been working closely with regulators helping them to adopt regulatory best practices in their routines, such as regulatory impact analysis, stakeholder engagement and ex-post evaluation.
I dedicate a significant part of my time seeking to advance gender equality in regulation. Since the end of 2022, I have been dedicated to building and developing a network of women who share the goal of advancing regulatory practice in Brazil. We do this by recognizing and strengthening the female presence in the field.
Last, but not least, I raise two amazing boys with the unwavering partnership of my industrious husband.
Recently, I had the opportunity to:
📚 Participate in the preparation of the Regulatory Best Practices Guide in cooperation with the Brazilian National Agency for Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) and to conduct several workshops with the agency’s staff;
📚 Be one of the technical coordinators of a collaborative process that involved all federal regulatory agencies and the executive secretariat of the Ministry of Economy in the preparation a National Guide to ex-post Evaluation;
📚 Assist Inmetro in the implementation of the Economic Freedom Act and in the structuring of a solution for integrating stakeholders in Regulatory Impact Assessments preparation.
